
Anita Yadav
Founding Member (President)
Anita Yadav is founding member and president of SAILI and a seasoned development professional with over 19 years of experience in agriculture, climate change, livelihoods, financial inclusion, and gender empowerment. She has worked with renowned institutions including PRADAN, BASIX, NABARD, BIRD, CIAE-ICAR, CFMT&TI, GIZ, IRRI, UPSRLM, and the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust (RGCT), leading transformative projects across rural India.
Anita has successfully led multi-stakeholder programs focused on economic and social inclusion, particularly in agriculture and entrepreneurship, including DFID-PSIG, NRETP, and NABARD’s W-SHG projects. Her consultancy assignments in climate-resilient agriculture and livelihoods under GCF, NAFCC, and ADF frameworks reflect her strong grounding in climate finance and adaptive development planning.
Her academic background includes a post-graduation in Farm Machinery and Power (with a minor in Soil and Water Conservation) from J.A.U. Gujarat, and a postgraduate degree in NGO and Rural Management from MGCGV. She is a recipient of the prestigious Ford Fellowship (USA) and GCL Fellowship in Women’s Studies (Canada).
