Dr. R. K. Singh is a distinguished public-sector leader with over 37 years of experience in agriculture, rural development, governance, and community systems. He retired as Director Agriculture, SIMA, Lucknow, Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in May 2026 after a long and accomplished career in the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Services, which he joined in 1991.
Throughout his career, he held senior leadership positions across agriculture extension, soil and water conservation, watershed development, farmer outreach, training architecture, programme management, and institutional strengthening. He brings deep expertise in governance, capacity building, livelihood promotion, and rural community development, making him well suited for advisory, board, member, and senior institutional roles in the agriculture and social development sectors.
Dr. Singh holds an M.E. in Agriculture from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner (1988), and a B.Tech in Agriculture from the University of Allahabad (1986). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Integral University, Lucknow.
