Dr. Ramesh Chandra Srivastava is a distinguished agricultural engineer with over 45 years of experience across diverse ecosystems in India. A former Vice Chancellor of RPCAU, Pusa, Bihar, and Director of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair, he has significantly contributed to rainwater management, agri-waste monetization, and rural livelihoods. Dr. Srivastava is the architect of the acclaimed “Sukhet Model,” which was recognized by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in Mann Ki Baat. A recipient of 32 awards including the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award and Fellow of eight prestigious academies, he has authored over 130 research papers and led projects worth over ₹82 crore.
